A different kind of archive
Make less. Record more.
Each piece starts with a source record. Where did the material come from? What did it do before? Which marks matter? That record stays attached through design, construction, exhibition, auction, donation, and the next caretaker.
The aim is not nostalgia and it is not mass production. It is to make a small number of useful objects with enough care that their histories remain readable.
