Reclaimed wood asks a difficult question: how clean is clean enough? A planer can reveal perfect grain, but it can also remove the evidence that makes the material specific.
We remove dirt, unstable fibers, and hazards. Saw kerfs, weathering, and old nail holes stay whenever the structure allows.
